Drager Medical has just launched a new ecommerce website and will now be able to take consumer payments online while making shopping a more efficient experience for customers.
DragerShop gives clients the opportunity to shop 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for the more than 600 prodcuts Drager sells, reports DotMed News.
The new site removes limitations of when customers can shop while offering them advanced search capabilities, product reviews and technical assistance through email, telephone or instant messaging.
Drager Medical has committed itself to meeting all PCI compliance requirements by using a security service offered by an IT company to ensure all personal and payment data is protected. Keeping information from consumer or business payments safe will lead to better standing and more trust with customers or potential partners and could lead to repeat and increased traffic to the ecommerce site.
According to the PCI Security Standards Council, failure to comply could effect Drager the opposite way, and just one breach of security could leave people wondering if the site keeps information safe. Additionally, any instance of compromised security could leave the company facing legal action.
